Advised the owners of CFR Hospitaler in the sale to Capio

CFR Hospitaler was founded in 2004 and is the second-largest private hospital in Denmark. CFR runs four highly specialised private hospitals as well as four radiological units in Hellerup, Lyngby, Odense and Skørping. The company is specialised in orthopaedic-, spine- and gastrointestinal-surgery, urology as well as ear-nose-throat disorders and performs more than 80,000 consultations and 8,000 surgeries on a yearly basis. Since 2004, CFR Hospitaler has experienced significant revenue growth through both organic growth as well as acquisitions of other private hospitals and clinics. In 2016, CFR Hospitaler had revenue of DKK 280m

Capio is a Swedish operator of hospitals, specialist clinics and primary care units in Sweden, Norway, France and Germany with a revenue of SEK 13,486m in 2015. In 2018, Capio was taken over by the French company Ramsay Générale de Santé SA – an operator of clinics and private hospitals

With the acquisition of CFR Hospitaler, Capio gains access to the Danish private healthcare market and secures a strong platform for future growth on the Danish market. CFR Hospitaler will benefit from the advantages of being part of a group of hospitals, increasing the opportunities for future growth
